Bottles are now available at local retailers across South Florida

For the first time ever, The Tank Brewing Co. is bottling one of their core brews being sold at local retailers across South Florida. The Freedom Tower Amber Ale is part of The Tank Brewing Co.'s lineup of core beers, which launched back in 2016 along with La Finca Miami and El Farito IPA, and has become a staple at more than 250 South Florida bars and restaurants. Now, consumers will have the opportunity to enjoy a bit of Freedom in the comfort of their homes or take it with them to any special occasion.

“The Freedom Tower Amber Ale has always been a beer with a special place in my heart,” said Tank owner and founder Carlos Padron. “We named the brew after the iconic Miami landmark in downtown. When we decided to start bottling our beers, I knew that the first one we would put out in the market would be the Freedom Tower Amber Ale. Aside from it being a great-tasting beer -- and our top seller -- it, too, serves as a symbol of hope and freedom.”

The new Tank Freedom Tower beer bottles are now available for purchase at the following retail locations: select Crown Wine and Spirits stores, select Total Wine & More stores, Mendez Fuel, the Dorchester Hotel, Mr. & Mrs. Bun, Edukos, Empanada Harry’s Bakery, Key Largo Bay Resorts, Alabama Jack’s, Better Days, Lighthouse Grill, Downstairs Market, Kush, and, of course, The Tank’s own tasting room. Shoppers will recognize the lofty building on the label for the newly-released bottles. Feathers coyly shade a nameless face on one side, and on the other is the familiar building.

The Tank's beers take their inspiration from Miami's unique culture and local flavors. The brews are expertly crafted using only the finest ingredients from mash to tap. When it comes to the Freedom Tower Amber, the ale features malt-y caramel flavors with subtle hints of stone fruit.

“I am beyond thrilled to be able to bottle our beer for the first time and share it with an even broader audience,” said Matthew Weintraub, The Tank’s head brewer. “It has been an enjoyable process and I know that the success of the Freedom Tower bottle sales will only lead to us bottling -- or canning -- more of our beers.”

Beer lovers continue to have the option to grab a pint -- or two -- at The Tank's tasting room (5100 NW 72nd Ave., Miami, FL), opening all week long, Monday through Thursday from 4-11 p.m.; Fridays from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m.; and Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 1 a.m.
