The goal of The House that Beer Built is to celebrate the collaborative brewing industry of Palm Beach County and their community commitment to raise the walls on a new home for a deserving and hardworking family in South Palm Beach County. I don’t have to move out or have restrictions on what I can do. I can have friends come over and show my hard work and what I have accomplished. I am looking forward to having family gatherings, BBQ’s on the weekend,” says Singletary who became a mother at a young age.
The participating breweries are:
- Saltwater Brewery
- Barrel of Monks Brewing

- Copperpoint Brewing Company
“It was overwhelming to see the immediate support we had from all 6 local breweries the second we approached them with the idea. Each brewery was on board from the start and willing to do whatever they could to make this a successful campaign. Habitat for Humanity doesn’t typically work with breweries, so this has been a fun excuse to partner with local businesses for a good cause.’ says Michelle Chancey, Director of Volunteer Engagement, Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach County. Chancey continues, “We launched this event to engage a new population in our service area. This is an opportunity for community members to fundraise, volunteer and advocate for the mission of safe and affordable housing in South Palm Beach County while also enjoying craft beer from six local breweries! This is their opportunity to drink beer for a good cause!”
