We attended the first night of 5th Annual Sam Adams Octoberfest in Miami had had a great time. The event took place in Wynwood at  the SOHO Studios.

“It’s all about the beer! This is not some neon wearing, beat-pumping rave, but a true German party. Come drink the beer, consume the food, and revel in the experience,” said Javi Zayas, event organizer.

The event featured some good beers like Sam Adams Harvest Pumpkin, Harvest Saison and of course their Octoberfest. Oh, yeah, did I mention that they also had Utopia in the VIP section?

There was a VIP section with a few special beers not available in the beer hall. VIP ticketholders had a festive lounge area to hangout in with couchlike seating, hightop tables and cornhole.

The centerpiece of the beer hall was the stage where The World Famous Polka Band kept the crowd swaying and dancing to the music. There were stien hoisting contests for both the men and the women as well as a Miss Octoberfest contest.
