Quality beer, live music, great atmosphere!

Just off a side street east of Dixie Highway in Lake Worth, a new brew house has emerged! Mathew's Brewing Company has been open three weeks but already has locals feeling like they've been there for awhile.  Owner David Mathews (no, he does not play in a band) recently decided to make his 20-yr hobby of being a home-brewer, a career.  After tasting some unique flavors like their PB & Jealous, a 5.4 ABV hybrid of styles or their 8.4 ABV Double IPA Heavy Metal, you will agree this was a great career decision!  Chris Villavicencio,  the Tap Room Manager, took a few minutes to share some details of Palm Beach County's newest craft brew hangout.

Here's the nitty gritty:

As you can see in their logo, Mathew's is dog- friendly on the large outside patio.  You'll find a stage for the live music playing Thursday- Sunday, outdoor games like grown-up sized Connect Four and Cornhole, and plenty of picnic table and outdoor furniture seating.  Mathew's is an in-barrel brew house sporting a number of rock band-named 20 barrel tanks (see picture), a couple 10 barrel tanks and a pilot system as well.  Add in food trucks 5 days a week and that makes them a very well rounded place to spend your time!

This Saturday, January 13th, is Mathew's Brewing Company's Grand Opening.  Starting at 12pm with timed releases, live music from 2-5pm by Jason Green (acoustic covers), and continuing 7-10pm  with The New Planets.  The Mayor of Lake Worth will be on hand for the ribbon cutting at 1pm.  Hope to see you there!
